Chromium Molybdenum Steel Heat Resistance

The addition of chromium, aluminum, rock and other elements has effectively improved the properties and high-temperature strength of steel anti-high-temperature oxidation. Its mechanism is as follows: chromium mainly exists in the carburized body (Fe3C). Chromium dissolved in the carburized body increases the decomposition temperature of carbide, prevents the occurrence of graphitization, and further improves the heat resistance of steel.Aluminum can strengthen ferrite and improve the stability of carbides.The addition of moderate amount of vanadium can keep fine grain structure at high temperature and improve the thermal stability and strength of steel.
